Enjoy a day in this stunning retreat location at this fun workshop exploring Yoga and Indian dance.
Join Vibha and Helen for a fun one day workshop combining Yoga, and plenty of stamping, as we play with Yoga practice and discover the beautiful classical Indian dance form of Bharatanatyam!
Helen will guide you through a dynamic Yoga practice to prepare the body and mind for an exploration of the expressive art Bharatanatyam.
Vibha will share the depth and beauty of Bharatanatyam through guided group sessions, an opportunity to learn steps, hand-gestures (mudras), jumps, and sequences to music.
The day will close with a well deserved restorative Yoga session and guided relaxation.
The venue is a stunning retreat location about a 20-minute drive from Exeter city centre (lift shares available from Exeter). Based in an area of outstanding natural beauty the studio looks out onto the beautiful Devon countryside.
If you need a Yoga mat we can provide one, just let us know, otherwise if you have one please bring it along!
There are lots of walks close-by giving the opportunity to explore and connect with nature during the break.
B&B accommodation or camping is available at the venue (advanced booking necessary - exact location details provided on booking).
There is parking at the venue (further details provided on booking).
There are kitchen facilities to make hot drinks, and a fridge - bring lunch (recommended), or pop into the nearby village to explore during the break.
What to Bring
Lunch and any other food you may need for the day (there are no shops close by so we recommend you to bring everything you may need to eat).
A bottle for drinking water (water provided but a bottle is better for use in the studio).
Pen and paper (if you want to make any notes!).
A warm blanket (for the relaxation at the end of the session).
