In this Winter Wellbeing Workshop you will learn to keep healthy and happy during the remainder of the winter season combining a dynamic Yoga Flow, Pranayama, Mindfulness Meditation, and Yoga Nidra. The workshop will start with a grounding winter yoga flow asana practise, followed by calming and purifying breathing exercises and mindfulness meditation. The last part of the workshop is dedicated to Yoga Nidra, very often referred to the Yogic sleep. Yoga Nidra or the lucid sleeping is among the deepest possible states of relaxation, while you still remain fully conscious. It’s proven to reduce tension and anxiety, such as headache, giddiness, chest pain, sweating, and post-traumatic stress.
According to the principles of Ayurveda, winter can aggravate conditions that can weaken our immune systems and affect the way we feel due to cold, which is why it’s essential to take a good care of ourselves at this time of the year.
Everyone will leave feeling refreshed and relaxed with a copy of the winter yoga sequence for home practice, including tips for winter wellbeing. As well as a Winter Wellbeing Goody Bag!
